SH Empress Chick

'Henry' is a huge gelding who stands over 16hh. A kind, honest, steady, and reliable fellow who has a long stride, built like a tank, and very willing to go out and cover ground. Likes cows, and getting out and doing ranch work. For anyone who has ever had to ride hard, and put in long days, you can appreciate this horse, he's special.  Not very often, hardly ever, do you find a horse willing to put it all out there to get the job done.  Even as a 2yr old he was turning into a go to horse because I have so much respect for his willingness and try.  He can go straight from the stock trailer, hop on, jump out the door and go at a dead run to catch a cow. Exact same horse to ride whether he’s been ridden everyday or he has had a month off. If you have to go sort pairs, pull bulls, hang onto a rope hooked to a bull, ride river coulees, pony colts, run down the fence to turn some miserable cow, go swimming in some waterhole with absolutely no footing after some pisshead bull, pack a prod or use it on said pisshead bull, check critters or just go for a ride this is the horse to do it. A superstar to trim his feet, load, haul, unload, saddle, bridle, and the first one to meet you at the gate to catch. I really can't say enough nice things about this gelding and how he is to be around and work with. The only things I have not done with this gelding are that he hasn't been to town, packed a flag and been roped off of. 

Started as a two year old, had 30 days with Amos Abrahamson of Maple Creek in the spring of his two year old year. Has been used as a ranch horse by Lemsford, SK since he was started.
