AOC Walt Higgins

Born: May 3, 2022

Affectionately known as 'Walt', this colt had a rough start. His dam, Higgins, died the day after he was born. The bay mare that you will see in the pictures is not his biological mother. During the grafting process Walt was handled quite a bit and he has a very good mindset; willing and quiet. Higgins was a main using saddlehorse for us who did just about everything. She was used in the feedlot, roped off of in the arena, and made miles on pasture. That mare could go all day and loved nothing more than the opportunity to prove herself on a cow. Cattle were her speciality, and she could work them and abuse them like no one else. She was a 14.2hh mare with a tremendous heart who is going to be missed greatly. 

If Walt has half the try his dam did, he is going to make one hell of a horse. This colt is going to be that desirable jet black colouring with only a white star. Otherwise completely straight marked. The sire stands 15.2hh.
